This is one of, if big the most, extensive presentations of the evidence without bias. Being a follower of Daniel

Horowitz and the various Certified Industrial Hygienists he’s had on his podcasts, this information has been available for scrutiny throughout the pandemic. Unfortunately, it takes time and the willingness to exercise critical thinking. The most common response I encounter from the mask cult after presenting this type of objective scientific data has been blank stated and perhaps a “they (masks)myst help a little” or “what’s the big deal? There’s no harm in wearing a mask.” To which I reply, “there isn’t? You know this, how? Share the data you used to come to this conclusion.” End of conversation. Thank you Emily!

This is a great synopsis of the lack of evidence for masks, as well as the shoddy studies that have been used to promote them. I have an idea for a "science demonstration," but I'm not sure if it makes sense. Students on student council at my child's school are requiring masks for attendees at "Game Night" even though the school lifted the mask mandate March 21. I think the students (and teachers) need a little science demo to help them understand that masks do nothing. So I was thinking, what about a demo using something like sand to represent the virus? Then punch holes in a surgical mask of a diameter that would represent the relative size difference between a covid virus particle and the weave of a surgical mask or a cloth mask. What do you all think? Would this be a good analogy? I think we could easily show how sand (virus) goes right through the "holes" of a mask. So if a covid virion is 0.1-0.5 µm in size, then what are the size of the holes in the weave of a cloth mask? A surgical mask?

Most standard microfiber surgical masks run in the 1-3 micron range. I checked today at work! Given the comparison of particle size to cigarette smoke, perhaps being able to smell smoke through a mask would demonstrate its inability to block a virus. (One could substitute candle smoke for cigarette, for the sake of the youngsters' health, as cigarette smoke is now viewed as comparable to nuclear waste.)
